Our approach

Three principles
behind every sports
nutrition plan.

Performance-led, evidence-based, and built to survive a real training week.

01

Tailored to your sport & training load

Generic sports nutrition advice rarely fits real training. Your plan is built around your sport, your training week, your competition calendar, your body composition goals and your day-to-day schedule.

02

Built on sports science evidence

Recommendations grounded in current sports nutrition research and clinical practice — not whatever is trending in fitness content. Where evidence is unclear, we say so and recommend a sensible approach.

03

Practical, not perfectionist

The best sports nutrition plan is the one you can actually follow. We focus on practical strategies that fit around training, work, study, family and travel — so consistency becomes realistic.

03

Sports nutrition areas we cover

Tailored support across thefull performance picture.

From daily fuelling to race-day strategy, recovery to RED-S — the breadth of sports nutrition, delivered by an Accredited Sports Dietitian.

We’ll shape what we focus on around your training block, calendar and goals.

A clear, supported pathway

How we work with you.

A clear, supported pathway from your first appointment through to ongoing care.

1

60-min initial

Initial Consultation

Your sports dietitian takes a detailed history of your sport, training, competition schedule, current nutrition, body composition goals and any past nutrition or injury history. We listen first — then build the plan around what matters most right now.

2

Practical plan

Personalised Performance Plan

You leave with a clear, practical plan covering daily fuelling, training-day nutrition, recovery strategies, hydration and any specific event or competition focus. Real-food strategies first — supplements where the evidence stacks up.

3

Ongoing review

Ongoing Review & Refinement

Sports nutrition needs to adapt as training changes. Follow-ups help us review what's working, refine fuelling around training blocks, and dial in your plan as you build toward events or goals.

Frequently asked

Sports
Nutrition
Questions.

Common questions we hear from athletes and
active individuals considering sports nutrition
support.

Do I need to be an elite athlete to see a sports dietitian?

Not at all. The majority of our sports nutrition clients are recreational athletes, weekend warriors, masters athletes and active people training for personal goals. If you train consistently and want to get more out of your nutrition, you are exactly who this service is for.

An Accredited Sports Dietitian (ASD) is a dietitian who has completed further qualifications and supervised practice in sports nutrition through Sports Dietitians Australia. This means a deeper, more specialised understanding of performance fuelling, recovery, body composition for sport, supplement use and the demands of training and competition.

Yes. We regularly support athletes preparing for races, events, competitions and tournaments. This can include build-phase nutrition, taper strategy, race-week and race-day fuelling, hydration planning and post-event recovery.

Yes. We provide evidence-based guidance on supplement use, including which supplements are likely to be useful for your sport and goals, which are not, and how to use them safely. We do not promote or sell specific supplement brands.

Sports nutrition appointments are not typically covered by Medicare unless you also have an eligible chronic condition and a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from your GP. Many private health funds offer rebates for dietitian consultations under extras cover. Check with your fund to confirm your level of cover.

Yes. We are happy to collaborate with coaches, strength and conditioning staff, physiotherapists and other members of your support team, with your consent, so your nutrition plan integrates with your wider training program.
