Three principles that
guide how we work in
this space.
Care that prioritises safety, respect and your autonomy — every session, every step.
01
Weight-inclusive & non-diet
We don’t focus on weight loss, weight targets or restrictive food rules. Our care is weight-inclusive — your body is respected at every size, and we centre your relationship with food, your wellbeing and your goals rather than the number on the scale.
02
Part of a multidisciplinary team
Eating disorders and disordered eating are best supported by a team. Our role as your dietitian sits alongside your GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or other treating clinicians — so the care wrapped around you is joined up rather than fragmented.
03
At your pace
There’s no rush. We meet you where you are, work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, and adjust as your needs change. Autonomy and trust matter at every step.
03
Every plan is paced to where you are right now and what
your wider treatment team is working on. We don’t prescribe rigid rules — we work with you on what feels safe and possible.
Our dietitians can support you in the following areas. We’ll always discuss what feels right for you on your Discovery Call.
01
Gentle structure & regularity in eating
Building consistency and rhythm in a way that feels manageable, not restrictive.
02
Working through food fears & rigid food rules
Carefully, at a pace that feels safe, with the support of your treatment team.
03
Recovery nutrition & nutritional rehabilitation
In collaboration with your treatment team and tailored to your stage of recovery.
04
Meal support & practical strategies
For the situations that feel hardest — eating out, special events, holidays.
05
Intuitive & mindful eating
Where developmentally and clinically appropriate, with no pressure or prescription.
06
Family & parent-supported approaches
For adolescents, where appropriate and in coordination with your treatment team.
How we work with you.
Built around safety, trust and collaboration — every step paced to you.
1
Gentle, no pressure
Your dietitian takes a gentle, detailed history of your relationship with food, eating patterns, medical and treatment background, and what you're hoping for from our work together. We listen first — with no pressure and no judgment.
2
Paced to you
We work with you to agree on realistic, manageable next steps. Plans are paced to where you are, framed around what feels safe and possible, and developed in coordination with your wider treatment team.
3
Joined-up care
Recovery and change take time. Follow- up sessions help us adjust the plan as you move through different stages, troubleshoot the hard parts, and keep your care joined up with your GP, psychologist or treatment team.
Four reasons clients and clinicians trust us with eating disorder and disordered-eating care.
Every clinician is credentialled with Dietitians Australia — the only nutrition credential recognised by Medicare and most private health funds.
Our care is built on respect for your body and your autonomy — not on weight goals, restriction or rules.
We work collaboratively with GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists and other treating clinicians as part of integrated care.
Quiet, gentle consult rooms. No diet talk, no weigh-ins as routine practice, and no judgment — ever.
Four Sydney clinics, plus Australia-wide telehealth.
Appointments are available in person across our Sydney clinics, or via secure telehealth video consultations Australia-wide.

Eating
Disorder
Questions.
Common questions we hear from clients, parents, carers and treating clinicians considering our service.
No. You do not need a formal diagnosis to book an appointment. Many of our clients come to us with disordered eating patterns, a long dieting history, or concerns about their relationship with food that have not been formally assessed. If you think we might be able to help, we encourage you to reach out.
Routine weighing is not part of how we work. Where weight monitoring is clinically necessary, for example as part of a coordinated eating disorder treatment plan, this is discussed openly with you and your treatment team. The focus of our sessions is your relationship with food and your wellbeing, not the number on the scale.
Yes. We strongly believe in multidisciplinary care and work collaboratively with GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists and other treating clinicians, with your consent. If you do not currently have a treatment team in place, we can talk through what might be helpful.
Eligible clients may be able to access Medicare rebates through an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) or a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from their GP. Many private health funds also offer rebates for dietitian consultations under extras cover. Your GP is the best person to discuss which Medicare pathway, if any, may be available to you.
Both. We support adults and adolescents. For adolescents, parent or carer involvement is encouraged and structured around what is developmentally and clinically appropriate, in coordination with your wider treatment team.
