Meet Tatiana Bedikian

Low FODMAP, macros, the latest thing on your feed: when nutrition advice pulls in ten directions, it helps to sit with one person who knows the evidence.

Tatiana Bedikian is the Accredited Practising Dietitian and founder behind Body Fusion in Sydney.

Principal Dietitian (APD)

About Tatiana

Tatiana is the founder and principal dietitian at Body Fusion. She holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from UNSW, and is an Accredited Practising Dietitian credentialled with Dietitians Australia, the nutrition qualification recognised by Medicare and most private health funds.

Her work is grounded in current evidence and shaped around the person in front of her, with a calm, non-diet approach that focuses on sustainable habits rather than short-term rules. Individual needs and outcomes vary.

How Tatiana Can Help You.

Tatiana works with adults across a range of nutrition concerns, and often where a few of them overlap. Her main areas of focus include:

01

Gut health and IBS

structured low FODMAP support using her Monash University training, with a clear plan to reintroduce variety wherever possible.

02

Eating disorder and disordered eating support

weight-inclusive, non-diet care delivered as part of your wider treatment team, drawing on her ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential.

03

Weight management

sustainable, behaviour-based support built around your lifestyle rather than quick fixes or rigid meal plans.

04

Women's Health

Supporting women with practical and evidence based advice manage PCOS, Endometriosis and Menopause

05

Everyday nutrition: practical guidance for energy, balance and building a healthier relationship with food.

Tatiana’s Approach.

Tatiana believes lasting change comes from sustainable habits, not restriction or short-term fixes. She uses dietary change only where it is clinically useful, always with a plan to bring variety back wherever possible, and takes time to understand your history, your symptoms and the realities of your everyday life.

Where relevant, she is happy to work alongside your GP, specialist or psychologist, so your nutrition care sits within the broader picture of your health rather than separate from it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Quesitons

Common questions we receive from clients seeking ongoing health support.

Is Tatiana Bedikian an Accredited Practising Dietitian?

Yes. Tatiana is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credentialled with Dietitians Australia, the credential recognised by Medicare and most private health funds. She holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from the University of New South Wales. As an APD, she is qualified to provide individualised medical nutrition therapy, not just general food advice.

Tatiana focuses on gut health and IBS, eating disorder and disordered eating support, weight management and women’s health, including PCOS, endometriosis and menopause, alongside everyday nutrition. She has completed Monash University low FODMAP training and holds an ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential, with further study in behaviour change. Many clients come to her with more than one of these concerns at once, and her care is adapted accordingly.

No. You can book a private appointment with Tatiana without a referral. A referral is only needed if you would like to access Medicare rebates, which are available to eligible clients through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or, in some cases, an Eating Disorder Plan from your GP. Your GP can advise whether you are eligible.

Yes. Tatiana has completed further training from Monash University in the low FODMAP diet, a structured, evidence-based approach to managing IBS, bloating and other digestive concerns. Done properly, low FODMAP is a three-phase process with a clear endpoint, not a long-term restrictive diet. Tatiana guides each phase and reintroduces variety wherever possible, so the focus stays on a sustainable way of eating.

Yes. Tatiana provides weight-inclusive, non-diet support for people navigating eating disorders and disordered eating, drawing on her ANZAED Eating Disorder Credential. This care is delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist, and is always paced to where you are. You do not need a formal diagnosis to reach out and talk things through.

Yes. Tatiana offers secure telehealth video consultations Australia-wide, as well as in-person appointments at Body Fusion’s Sydney clinics. Telehealth is a convenient option if you live outside Sydney, travel often, or simply prefer to meet from home. You can choose whichever format suits you, and the same evidence-based care applies either way.

Tatiana sees clients in person across Body Fusion’s Sydney clinics in Hunters Hill, Rozelle and Epping. Telehealth appointments are also available Australia-wide, so you can see her wherever you are. Call reception on 0422 297 721 to check availability and book.

Eligible clients with chronic conditions may access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from their GP, and eligible clients may access an Eating Disorder Plan where appropriate. Many private health funds also offer rebates for dietitian consultations under extras cover. Rebate amounts and eligibility vary between individuals and funds, so it is best to confirm your cover with your GP and health fund.
