You have read the articles, tried the meal plans, and still feel unsure what actually works for your body. The people behind Body Fusion are Accredited Practising Dietitians who turn the noise of nutrition advice into a clear, personal plan you can follow.
- Personalised
- Lasting Results
- Non-diet Approach
- Compassionate

Every clinician at Body Fusion is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) credentialled with Dietitians Australia, the nutrition qualification recognised by Medicare and most private health funds. That means the guidance you receive is grounded in current evidence and shaped around your history, your goals and your everyday life, rather than a template.
Our dietitians use dietary change only where it is clinically useful, and are happy to work alongside your GP, specialist or wider care team where relevant. Individual needs and outcomes vary.
Body Fusion is a small, focused team, so you work with a dietitian who knows your history rather than starting over each visit. Get to know the people who will support your care below.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Quesitons
Common questions we receive from clients seeking ongoing health support.
What Is an Accredited Practising Dietitian?
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is the credential regulated by Dietitians Australia, and it is the qualification recognised by Medicare and most private health funds. APDs complete university-level training in medical nutrition therapy and commit to ongoing professional development. In practice, it means a dietitian is qualified to provide individualised nutrition care for health conditions, not just general food tips. Every clinician at Body Fusion holds this credential.
What Is the Difference Between a Dietitian and a Nutritionist?
In Australia, Accredited Practising Dietitian is a protected, regulated credential, while the title nutritionist is not always tied to a set qualification. Dietitians are trained to provide individualised medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, IBS and eating disorders, and their services can attract Medicare and private health rebates for eligible clients. Both members of the Body Fusion team are Accredited Practising Dietitians.
Do I Need a Referral to See a Dietitian at Body Fusion?
No. You can book a private appointment with our dietitians without a referral. A referral is only needed if you would like to access Medicare rebates, which are available to eligible clients through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or, in some cases, an Eating Disorder Plan from your GP. Your GP can advise whether you are eligible.
Which Body Fusion Dietitian Is Right for Me?
Both of our dietitians provide personalised, evidence-based care, and there is some overlap in what they cover. As a general guide, Tatiana focuses on chronic disease management, eating disorder support and weight management, while Chyncia brings additional training in sports nutrition and womens health. If you are unsure, a Discovery Call is the easiest way to work out the best fit before you book an initial consultation.
Are Your Dietitians Qualified in Sports Nutrition?
Yes. Chyncia Salerno is an Accredited Sports Dietitian as well as an Accredited Practising Dietitian, with a background in sport and exercise science and personal experience as a dancer. She supports recreational through to competitive athletes with practical strategies for fuelling, hydration, recovery and body composition, tailored to your sport and training load rather than a rigid protocol.
Can a Dietitian Help With Gut Health and IBS?
Yes. Tatiana has completed further training from Monash University in the low FODMAP diet, a structured, evidence-based approach to managing IBS, bloating and other digestive concerns. Done properly, low FODMAP is a three-phase process with a clear endpoint, not a long-term restrictive diet. Your dietitian guides each phase and reintroduces variety wherever possible, so the focus stays on a sustainable way of eating.
Do Your Dietitians Offer Telehealth Appointments?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth video consultations Australia-wide across all of our services. Telehealth is a convenient option if you live outside Sydney, travel often, or simply prefer to meet from home. You can choose in-clinic or telehealth appointments to suit your needs, and the same evidence-based care applies either way.
Where Are Your Dietitians Located in Sydney?
Our dietitians consult in person at four Sydney clinics: North Sydney on the Lower North Shore (our main clinic), Hunters Hill and Rozelle in the Inner West, Epping and Lane Cove on the North Shore. Telehealth appointments are also available Australia-wide, so you can see the same dietitian wherever you are. Call reception on 0422 297 721 to book.
Can I Claim Medicare or Private Health for Dietitian Appointments?
Eligible clients with chronic conditions may access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan from their GP, and eligible clients may access an Eating Disorder Plan where appropriate. Many private health funds also offer rebates for dietitian consultations under extras cover. Rebate amounts and eligibility vary between individuals and funds, so it is best to confirm your cover with your GP and health fund.
