Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 500g Turkey mince
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1 large spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon white or black sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons Kehoe’s Kitchen Beetroot Sauerkraut
  • 60g spinach/ rocket leave mix
  • 3 tomatoes, sliced into circles
  • 1 large avocado, mashed
  • 5 wholegrain burger buns
  • 5 tsp Kewpie Mayo (optional)

Method

  1. Combine turkey mince, carrot, spring onion, sesame, coriander and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape into 6 patties.
  3. Heat fry pan on medium heat. Add some spray oil onto pan.
  4. Cook patties for 6-10 minutes each side until surface browned.
  5. Stack patties on wholegrain burger bread roll with avocado, tomato slices, spinach/ rocket leaves and 1 tablespoon of beetroot sauerkraut and 1 tsp of mayo.
  6. Serve with a side salad.
  7. Enjoy!
