Are you looking for a fun way to get the family on board with eating some fish? 

Here is our favourite Salmon Tacos recipe that are simple to make and delicious! 


  • Spray olive oil

  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika

  • 2 tsp of cumin

  • Red chilli flakes

  • Salt and pepper

  • 500g raw salmon (~4 thinly cut pieces)

  • 8-12 small corn tortillas/soft tacos

  • 1 large avocado, diced (small pieces)

  • 2 large tomatoes, diced (small pieces)

  • 0.25 of a purple cabbage, thinly shredded

  • 2 lime

  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or ground

  • Cup of yoghurt (250g)

  • Bunch of coriander, chopped

Serves 4 (2 to 3 tacos per person)


  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.

  2. Place salmon on a baking tray with baking paper. Lightly spray with olive oil and season with paprika, cumin and chilli flakes.

  3. Bake for ten minutes until cooked through.

  4. Whilst the fish is cooking, add garlic to yoghurt in a small jar or bowl and shake/mix.

  5. Add avocado, tomato, and juice of one lime and season with a little salt and pepper.

  6. Use a fork to flake the salmon.

  7. Heat your soft tacos in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

  8. Add cabbage to taco, salmon and salsa. Drizzle some garlic sauce and then decorate with coriander.

  9. Devour and enjoy!

This recipe is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids for healthy cholesterol and plenty of antioxidants.
